Zayn Malik played his first concert since the death fellow One Direction member Liam Payne and it was emotional. Payne died in October after falling from the third floor of a hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Singer Zayn Malik recently paid tribute to former One Direction member Liam Payne in the first show of his debut solo tour, Stairway to the Sky. Liam Payne passed away tragically after taking a fatal fall from the balcony of the CasaSur hotel in Argentina on October 16.

Zayn Malik played his first concert since his former One Direction bandmate Liam Payne died Saturday night in Leeds, England. While most of the show proceeded as expected, Malik ended the night with a tribute to Payne that left fans “shaking and crying.”
