The University of Memphis men's basketball team closed out the Maui Invitational by falling to No. 4 Auburn, 90-76 in the championship game inside Lahaina Civic Center Wednesday afternoon. The Tigers shot 50 percent for the game and nearly 67 percent from long range - led by redshirt sophomore guard PJ Haggerty who scored a game-high 27 points and team-best nine boards.

The Tigers were 12 of 22 from beyond at the arc, but still needed overtime to beat the two-time defending champs after UConn erased a late 13-point deficit.
