Bushra Bibi, Imran Khan's wife, has emerged as a key figure in Pakistan's political turmoil, leading protests for his release and solidifying her role as a prominent PTI leader.

The team's visit to Peshawar came after an accountability court in a November 22 ruling issued non-bailable warrants against Bibi as she missed eight consecutive hearings.

Imran Khan agreed to relocate a protest from D-chowk to Islamabad's outskirts, but his wife Bushra Bibi rejected the plan, resulting in violent clashes and deaths. Defence Minister Khawaja Asif accused PTI leaders of fleeing the scene and criticized conflicting reports on casualties.
