The Seminoles bring a longtime coordinator and coach into the fold to help provide a spark to an offense that finished last in the ACC.

Gus Malzahn is leaving UCF Knights football to join Mike Norvell and the Florida State Seminoles. He will serve as their offensive coordinator.

Malzahn, whose team finished a 4-8 season with a 28-14 home loss Friday night to Utah, is stepping down to become the new offensive coordinator at FSU. ESPN first reported the move late Saturday afternoon, and UCF announced it via social media shortly thereafter.
