A police officer was injured while conducting a traffic stop in Waterbury last week. Authorities pulled over a car believed to be involved in multiple thefts across the state on Cherry Street on Dec.

Two people were arrested on Dec. 4 in Waterbury after getting identified during a traffic stop, according to police. Officers were patrolling the area of Cherry Street when they saw a blue 2011 Hyundai Accent that was involved in multiple larcenies throughout the state.
