After failing in the first essay, Jaiswal turned things around as he showed immense patience and grit against the formidable Australian bowling line-up to get to the milestone.

By scoring a six off Hazlewood's bowling to bring up his fourth Test century, Jaiswal became the third Indian to score a century in his first Test in Australia.
