Overall, seven players are in line for either the Jack Nicklaus Award or the Arnold Palmer Award, with the winners due to be revealed by the end of the year

The PGA Tour Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year nominees were announced on Monday. Scottie Scheffler, Xander Schauffele and Rory McIlroy make up the three-player race for the Jack Nicklaus Award,

McIlroy won the DP World Tour's Dubai Desert Classic, DP World Championship, Zurich Classic and Wells Fargo Championship during an impressive year, in which he also recorded seven top-10 finishes and missed just one cut in 19 events.

This year, Rory McIlroy, Xander Schauffele, and Scottie Scheffler are the nominees for the 2024 Player of the Year. The winner will be determined by a vote among PGA Tour members who have made at least 15 starts this season. Voting will conclude on Wednesday, December 4, at 5 pm ET, with the winner announced by the end of the year.

Scottie Scheffler and Nick Dunlap headline the nominees for the PGA Tour’s Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year awards. The tour released a list of the candidates for their end-of-the-season honors Monday following the 2024 finale at the RSM Classic.
