Charlotte Douglas International Airport workers went on strike Monday over low wagers, unfair labor practices during busy Thanksgiving day travel

A new U.S. Department of Transportation rule that went into effect last month says if your flight is delayed by more than three hours for domestic trips, or more than six hours for international trips, you’re automatically entitled to a refund if you choose not to travel on the delayed flight, USA Today reported.

Last month, the SEIU called a 24-hour strike of 2,700 Michigan Medicine healthcare workers. At least 12,000 hospital employees belonging to various other unions were instructed to cross the picket lines by other healthcare unions rather than stand in solidarity with their brothers and sisters.
