Baldur’s Gate 3 Patch 8 is coming. We’ve got early patch notes going over crossplay photo mode, and the new subclasses coming to the game.

Patch 8, due out in 2025, adds crossplay, photo mode, and 12 new subclasses to the hugely successful role-playing game. In a blog post, Larian said Patch 8 is the game’s last major update, with the developer moving on to brand new games away from the Dungeons & Dragons universe.

One of the most popular subclasses among Warlocks is the Hexblade, which was initially left out of Baldur's Gate 3 but will be officially added with Patch 8 of the game. Along with the ability to create magical weapons, this option will also allow players to curse enemies, forcing souls to obey commands.
