Two men who were arrested Monday are part of an “organized retail theft operation” that targeted high-end items at Waterford stores, according to state police. Scott Allen Bourgeois, 33, of Lebanon, and 47-year-old John D.

Connecticut State Police said Tuesday that they arrested two men accused of stealing merchandise from a store in Waterford.

Waterford police are asking the public for assistance in locating the woman who stole more than $500 worth of merchandise from a business. On Nov. 24 police say a woman exited the Ulta Beauty at 903 Hartford Turnpike with $538 worth of merchandise in her purse.

State police said suspects Scott Bourgeois, 33, of Lebanon, and John Jones, 47, of Putnam, stole more than $1,050 of merchandise from the Target location.
