LSU’s offense was plagued by turnovers and sacks throughout its three-game losing streak. Garrett Nussmeier threw three interceptions against Texas A&M and two more vs. Alabama. Last week, LSU allowed seven sacks.

The Commodores (6-5, 3-4 SEC) scored a touchdown on their opening drive but only got one more touchdown all game, late in the fourth quarter. Despite getting within one score, Vanderbilt never got the ball back as LSU drove down near the goal line before running the clock out.
