(NEXSTAR) — Last week, President-elect Donald Trump unveiled his latest business venture: signed “Make America Great Again” guitars selling for as much as $11,500. They may not be available much longer, since Gibson has accused the guitar’s maker of ripping off their own design.

Authorities say U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents have seized more than 3,000 fake Gibson electric guitars shipped from Asia at the Los Angeles-Long Beach Seaport

U.S. Customs and Border Protection said its agents intercepted 3,000 fake Gibson electric guitars which were shipped from Asia. If the guitars had been authentic, they would have been worth $18 million.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection seized more than 3,000 fake Gibson guitars worth nearly $19 million, had they been genuine.

More than 3,000 fake Gibson guitars were seized by U.S. Customs and Border Protection in what authorities are calling the largest seizure of counterfeit musical instruments at the massive Los Angeles-Long Beach Seaport.

They would have been worth nearly $18 million if they were genuine, making it the largest counterfeit instrument seizure in history, officials said.

Gibson Brands, the historic maker of guitars such as the Les Paul, has accused 16 Creative, the agency behind Trump Guitars, of trademark infringement. The company issued a cease-and-desist letter, citing the unauthorized use of the Les Paul body shape.
